The Eastern Youth Zone is a groundbreaking initiative by the Apnom Youth Organisation, designed to bring youth empowerment and development closer to young people in the eastern region of Uganda. As part of a decentralized approach to youth engagement, the Eastern Youth Zone ensures that young people in every district have access to resources, opportunities, and support systems that enable them to thrive. Led by a passionate **Youth Zone Leader** and supported by a dedicated sub-committee, the Eastern Youth Zone serves as a hub for youth development, fostering leadership, innovation, and community transformation. By addressing the unique needs of young people in the region, the Zone empowers them to become active contributors to their communities and the nation at large.
The Eastern Youth Zone operates under the mission to empower young people in the eastern region of Uganda by providing them with the tools, resources, and platforms they need to achieve their full potential. Its vision is to create a network of vibrant youth communities where every young person has access to education, skills development, and opportunities for meaningful participation in society.
