The Northern Youth Zone is a regional empowerment framework under Apnom Youth Organisation, established to mobilize, unite, and support young people across the Northern Region of Uganda. Recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the youth in this region—such as the legacy of conflict, unemployment, poverty, and climate vulnerability—the Northern Youth Zone stands as a beacon of hope, resilience, and transformation.
This zone operates as a decentralized hub for youth-led development, creating platforms for leadership, skilling, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, mental health support, and environmental restoration. Through collaboration with schools, local governments, communities, and development partners, the Northern Youth Zone ensures that no young person is left behind in the journey toward self-reliance, peace, and prosperity.
